10 Songs Everyone Who Lost A Parent Needs To Listen To

Music is a powerful way to connect with others. We listen to music in the car, at work, at a house, or anywhere we can. Lyrics can make us break down and cry or smile. Either way, music is always connecting with us.

When you lose a parent, your world turns upside down. You never know what to think or feel. Music is a great way to look for guidance. Some lyrics will touch you more than others.

1. “… Time can heal your wounds if You’re strong and standing tall

I’ve been doing all of that, it didn’t help at all

They say you’ll grow older, and it’ll get better still

They don’t get it, …” – You’re Not There by Lukas Graham

2. I “… So I won’t give up, no I won’t break down

I won’t go, I won’t go

Listen to these songs when you’re feeling alone. Make sure you have tissues close by because you cry. It’s okay to cry about the lost of your mom or dad, so don’t ever feel ashamed. Tears help remind us how strong we are and it’s okay to feel.
