My daughter had a cold back in December and I asked her what kind of soup she wanted to help her feel better. She surprised me when she picked an all vegetable noddle soup. She has a fever today but said she wants mom’s chicken rice soup. Kids are so unpredictable. Haha.
Here’s the recipe! 🙂
Ingredients:
1 bag of egg noddles
1 small onion
½ bag of baby carrots, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
3 tsp of salt
Dash of pepper for taste
1 tsp thyme
½ tsp fresh rosemary leaves (1 stalk)
1 fresh sage leaves, chopped
2 tbsp butter
6 cups of chicken broth
3 cups of water
Instructions
- Chop up celery and onions into tiny pieces then put them in the crockpot.
- Cut the carrots in half then add the halves in.
- Then add all the remaining ingredients to the crockpot.
- Cook for 4 hours on low.
- When 2 hours is left, add the egg noodles to the soup and stir.
- Must sure you stir before serving.
Enjoy!!!!!
